“They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.”

When I reflect on all that Aphria has accomplished in the last five years – the unparalleled commercial-scale greenhouses we’ve built, the nearly 70,000 medical cannabis patients in Canada we’ve served, the incredible portfolio of adult-use brands we offer, and the more than 1,000 incredibly talented and dedicated employees we champion around the world – I am filled with enormous pride.

And then I think of all that’s still to come.

We are hard at work on Aphria’s next chapter and on propelling our company to new heights. There’s no doubt: the future of this industry is innovation, the sky’s the limit. How far do we push? What we see as the cannabis industry in Canada today and growing around the world – will look nothing like the cannabis industry in five years, let alone 50.

We will always be proud of our roots and the strengths that have powered our success, like our ability to produce high-quality cannabis at a low cost. Today, we have extended this strategic advantage with industry-defining automation that puts us at the forefront of large-scale cannabis cultivation. It will enable Aphria to drive the transformation of the cannabis industry in the years to come, as we’ve done so far.

We’ve only started to scratch the surface cannabis’s potential, as a medicine, as a product, and certainly as an ingredient. I believe, as we embrace this transformation and cannabis becomes part of our day-to-day lives, in the future it’s going to be harder to find where cannabis is not, rather than where it is.

This is what excites me.

If our roots in agriculture have taught us anything it’s that growth is a constant necessity. At Aphria, we embrace this transformation every day. Aphria’s unbelievable, resilient people are not standing still. We are building the future.

Wait till you see what’s coming.
